General Error- Out of Memory
Hello, Hope everyone had a happy new year.
I am trying to edit a simple reel on FCP 6. I have a 3.06 Ghz Intel core 2 duo mac with 1Tb hard drive and 4 GB ram.
I imported about 9 quicktime files into FCP and two of them will not load into the preview monitor to edit. When I click on those two I get 1st “General Error” then “Out of Memory”. I have nothing else open then FCP, I have over 600 Gigs free on my hard drive. I am not using any other external drives. All the files are under 14 mins, and are all 720×480 NTSC. They are all quicktime files that i edited myself and rendered as a QT file.
Any one know how I can fix this?

Make sure the files are DV NTSC 48k.
