    GENERAL ERROR- NOT FOUND

    When the playhead comes to a certain area of the sequence, FCP freezes then I get this message “NOT FOUND” then it says” “GENERAL ERROR” The master clip plays fine in the viewer, and I try to replace it, but does not work . What seems to bo the problem and what can I do to fix it? Thank you very much…

    Try reconnecting to the clip. If that doesn’t work, recapture it. ALso try deleting render files. Have you checked to make sure the clip is actually on the scratch disk and not a render file?
