  • general error! message when rendering / trash preferences

    Hi.
I’m trying to render a clip in my timeline (for playback). It keeps giving me a “general error!” message when it gets about 90% complete. I’ve trashed the preferences using the preference manager but it still gives me the error message at 90% done. Is there something else I should be doing to make it render again?

    Thanks.

What are the sequence settings? Footage type? Do you have any stills in the sequence? Are they over 4000k on one side? Are they CMYK color space?

I removed the last clip I added and it rendered again. The file must have been corrupted.
    Thanks.
