I am working with some P2 720p 23.98 green screen footage. I log and transfered the footage and had no problem until i was actually editing and started getting these “General Error” and “Not Found”
messages when i played the timeline. The timeline is set to the AJA 2Vuy Codec so I can play it out realtime. Does this have something to do with my problem?

Most likely… The Pany cameras shoot DVCProHD, why is your timeline set to the AJA 2Vuy Codec?

I was using that because otherwise the timeline will not play out of the AJA into the monitor (via SDI)…I only get a freeze frame

    Jaime,

Don’t change the timeline settings to suit your display capabilities. Always set your timeline to match the media you’re editing, then, in View>>Video Playback change the playback settings. It’s possible that you may have to set to 720p at 59.94 or even 1920×1080 8-bit at 29.97 depending on your monitor.

Thanks….I’m still not getting playback. I checked my settings in FCP and still nothing. I also configured the AJA settings to 720p60. Don’t know what else to do.
