General error (41) when attempting to open fcp file
I moved my fcp project saved on an external drive from one computer to another and I’m getting the General error (41) when i try and open it. What can i do to open it? all the files are on the external drive and the fcp versions are the same 5.1.1 . Any help would be appreciated. thanks. Howard

Hi,
Could be one of many things!
On the machine that it works on try
‘File>Export>XML’ (Interchange Format Document)
Then on the other computer you get the error, try in FC
‘File > Import > XML’.
