General Error 41… makes me sad.
The film I am currently editing was well underway last night but this morning when i opened the final cut file its gives begins to load then general error 41 pops up and it stops loading. Is this fixable and how do i retrieve my edl’s and all my sequences.

Take a look in your AUtosave Vault and try to open the latest version of your cut from there. DUPLICATE it first, then open the duplicate.
Hopefully you have autosave enabled. Many people disable it. Now you see why it is wise not to…
