General Error 34
I have a FCP 4.5, dual 2.5 G5 with 8-gig ram, AJA IO breakout box. Just recently, I am not able to see video off my timeline on my production monitor. The same sequence played fine yesterday, but not today. When I went to check the Audio/Video settings, I got “General Error 34”. I am new to FCP, but not to Apple or non-linear (I have been on AVID for 10 years). Please Help!!!

Did you upgrade to QT 7 per chance? If so, reinstall FCP.

Is QT7 causing people problems? I’ve been having all kinds of problems recently in FCP, with new “general error” messages (34 and 39) popping up…and now that I think about it, I think all these problems happened after installing QT7…is it necessary to reinstall FCP to fix this problem?
