I see where there is an earlier thread on the subject. I’m also fighting the issue. Is there an easy way to locate the corrupt file?
I’m an old Media 100 rat and I remember there was a way to identify the bad media file on the drive. How do you locate the culprit in OS 10.4 and/or FCP.

Have you tried trashing your preferences first? If so, I would then trash your render files and see how that works for you.
