Could anyone point me to how sync from a gen10(really in general) at 23.98psf differs from 23.98p. My NitrisDX bob is set to capture 23.98 P material and has 23.98p sync to it and my deck(srw5500) has 23.98p sync to it but the stop button light flashes. If I switch over to 23.98psf the deck sync’s fine. Could someone clarify or point me to info that would clarify?

    Thanks,
    Adam

one is a progressive pulse ( P) and the other is segmented frame (PsF)for playback- that would be interlace.

it is my understanding that Avids do NOT support the 1080 true P workflow (ie: RED)
RED is about the only camera most people would ever use that generates a true “P” signal in 1080.
