    Everything I render goes to Shake or Avid and sometimes Final Cut Pro and I am constantly adjusting the gamma since the CG images look extremely dark on a preview monitor. (Except from FCP they never need to be adjusted).

    I have tried adjusting the monitor gamma in the Prefs. but the problem persists.

    I have tried several tests and the only thing that seems to work is to add a color correction in the Render settings effects and change the gamma up to 1.8

    anyone come up with a better answer please let me know.
