Gamma Set up for MAC 30 Display and Sony Monitor
Posted by Steve King on June 26, 2008 at 4:57 pmIs there a recommended gamma setting for the MAC 30 inch display for working with television so the MAC and the Sony video monitor match?
Thank You!

Actually 2.2 is closer to NTSC with a D60 white point. 2.2 is also the standard Windows setting. 1.8 is traditionally a Mac gamma setting and images will look let contrasty. You should, however, judge everything on a properly calibrated external video (HD or SD) monitor.
As a coincidence, and I’m not posting because of this, I just listed the Spyder2Pro Studio in the want ad sections for sale. This is used for profiling CRT or LCD and projectors.
