    Why does the gamma of the Decklink output change between paused and moving images in the timeline in FCPHD?

    this brightnes shift usually has nothing to do with the decklink card.

    try switching off the overlays (timecode, etc.) on the FCP canvas (sequence monitor) and see if it helps.

    Tried that – didn’t do it.

    BTW – On DV stuff the shift does not happen using a monitor output through firewire.
