    hi @ll

    great forum!

we have a problem with the blackmagic codec [wich we need to use, because we have decklink cards to preview our jobs on class 1 monitors]

making a composition with a color solid and rendering this comp results in different colors depending on the output-module settings:

rendering a 1024×576 PAL composition in 4 different ways:
    1. 1024×576 animation codec
    2. 720×576 animation codec
    3. 1024×576 blackmagic uncompressed 10 bit codec
    4. 720×576 blackmagic uncompressed 10 bit codec

if we compare the rendered results in final cut pro they are pretty similar to each other, except of the BM-coded 1024 clip, its much lighter and also the color-channels have changed more than a little…

    any ideas?

    TIA

    torsten
