  • Games in OSX – conflicts with Final Cut?

I’m finally getting prepped to move my edit system to a Mac Pro. Is there any harm in installing a game or two, alongside a Final Cut Studio installation?

In Windows, it’s usually not a good idea to install games on an edit system, since they can screw up the registry. Is it a similar situation in OSX?

    Thanks!

Just close the game when you’re editing and close Final Cut when you’re gaming!

I can’t think of any conflicts if you stick to those rules.

No problems for me. I’ve been running all the latest games on my Edit Bay’s for years with no problems at all.
