A pretty “meh” season this year, IMO. I liked the technical artistry in Humpty Dumpty. I liked the NFL PSA “inside these lines”. Coke’s spots weren’t really new. No Clydesdale spot? Melissa McCarthy was funny. The worst ad I thought was the ghostly return of Spuds McKenzie. I finally saw the rest of the 84 Lumber ad online, and I’m still not quite sure what the message is.

Gaga did a bang-up job on the halftime show. Everybody mentions the drones and their coordinated lights, but the flashlights on the grounds people was also remote-addressable lighting, able to spell out words even…

I thought the Ford spot with all their new products including a bicycle was the winner….but it only aired before the game and after the game….believe it was a 90.

    Hey Mark. You wrote:

What I got out of it is that carpenters used lumber to make a large door in Trump’s Wall, thus allowing the mother and daughter to enter the US. Fox thought it was too controversial in that half the public is for the wall, so they did not wallow the ending to be aired.

My take is that there are a lot of Hispanics in residential construction, so they are appealing to their base.
