  G5 to Mac Pro Transition / FCP

  Hello, I’m about to upgrade from a Power Mac G5 (2005) running FCP 4.5 to a Mac Pro FCS 3. Don’t laugh…this system has served me well! But it’s time to spend some money and upgrade.

  Anyone have any advice, pointers, recommendations and/or safeguards regarding this transition? Especially in regard to existing FCP projects, etc. This will be a first for me…frankly, I’m a little nervous.

  It also made me sad to see LiveType go away, although it’s been folded into Motion. Any advice there? I use LiveType a lot.
