G5 2.7 tiger not quite right
Has anyone had this problem? Darn g5 locks up sometimes when you shut down. The first time, I udated the os with the updater, but it locked up all the time. I do have a kona hd 2 card in it and a sonnet x 8 sata controller in it.
I thought that maybe the driver for the hd card was not yet updated to the new tiger update…
Then i got the second g5 today 2.7 as well and everything seemed fine. Tried to shut down and it locked up… Have a blackmagic sd base model card in that one. I did not update the os. Got the latest drivers that say they work in tiger…
It could be the cards, but I just don’t know. Any suggestions? Theories?
