fxplug fails to render
I’m finding quite a few of the fxplugs in FCP6 will not render on my system – anyone know if there is a fix?
For example when using the Bloom filter in the Glow folder, I get the message on screen:
“The effect Bloom failed to render” on a red background.
Could this be a system limitation?

Not enough grunt in the graphics card is my prognosis.

First of all you need to upgrade the OS

Checked the minimum specs on the apple site and my system just creeps in at the minimum requirement level.
Should have said I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card
and my OS is not 10.4.1 it’s 10.4.10 (forgot that important trailing zero)Cheers,
