FXPHD tutorials w/ Resolve 8?
Just curious If I intend to use the FXPHD tutorials for learning Resolve (the ones currently available) does it matter If I have Resolve 8.0?

I heard they will be announcing a new program for Resolve 8, soon, but I believe it will run outside of their regular curriculum.

As “discussed” before, the 101 course is what a 101 course should be, an introduction to grading using resolve.
The 201 and 210 still floating around get you more into it i think.
But wouldn’t it be awesome if they would do a 301 that covers XML management, stabilizing, changing tracked shapes, emulating looks (bleach bypass´n´stuff), output of multiple versions, layers and all that stuff we are dealing with daily on the bigger projects ?

101 everyone tries, problem is that few of us stick to it… So it’s more profitable to have several 101 courses, instead..
Let’s see what this new FXPHD Resolve 8 will offer… Shame they took down and don’t plan on making their previous 201 available anymore… ;(

just to clarify – unless the new class is coming out this week I am waiting to upgrade my system from 7.1 to 8 so that I can proeely learn from updated lessons. my question is whether that matters at all – I have the courses for previous version and was about to dive in and learn right when v8 came out – does it matter if I upgrade and use the courses currently available or should I stay at 7.1 to do the courses and then upgrade to 8 when warren’s new course comes out?

Just to clarify – I want to install V8 and I am currently on 7.1 and about to go thru all of the available fxphd resolve classes – my question is should i hold off on upgrading to V8 while i do these tutorials in the next week or will it be fine to use V8 for all of the currently available fxphd tuts?
