FX1 capture
Just started using the Intensity pro. Now the FX1 has firewire which works fine, but when i try to use the analog, because of some greenscreen footage we shot i get only a black sceen? I have check the forum for answers to this but cannot find an answer. checked out from camera, in to breakout cables(the right ones) but nothing? is there an advantage using component capture over firewire really?? and when capturing the compressed jpg files im guessing are more conpressed that the 8bit?

Hi Tim,
Couple of things to check:
1) That you’ve switched to the analog inputs in the Blackmagic preferences located in OS X’s System Preferences
2) That the format the FX1 is sending out matches your capture format. It’s possible that the camera is set to down convert on the analog out but you’re still trying to capture HD or vice versa.
