  FX to Monitor directly

  Hi
  I was working with After effects for motion graphics (working with nuke for the compositing) and I am planning to buy an nvidia Quadro FX 4000. Can I directly connect this via Displayport to my Dell 27″ monitor?

  Also, I’m planning on buying an HP Dreamcolor to act as reference monitor to simulate film LUTs. Can I connect the GPU directly via Displayport (10 bits 2K resolution) to this monitor?

  I will NOT be working on HDSDI and the output will be rendered to DPX 10-bit log.
