    Dear members,

After i install FXfactory 2.1.3 i can uses the plugins in FCP. There a no problems.
When i open after effects after 3 seconds it crashes with a lot of threads.
When i uninstall FX Factory, after effects runs perfect. I don’t need FX factory in After effects only in FCP.

I hope someone can solve this problem. I’m sorry for my bad englisch.

    Kind regards, Maik

FxFactory 2.1.3 is outdated. The current release is 2.5. Upgrading might solve your problem.

Something else is clearly wrong with your system if AE is crashing every time it tries to start FxFactory. Have you tried restoring AE’s default preferences?

In a pinch, you could manually remove the FxFactory plugins, though this may not solve the underlying issue that’s causing your crash. Look in Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Adobe > Common > Plug-ins > (pick your version of AE) > MediaCore, and you should find two files for FxFactory: FxFactory.plugin and ImporterFxFactory.bundle.

Thank you Thank you Thank You,

I removed manual the plugins in after effects like you said. After effects runs again only when i activate AE
load16 plugins with the message: THE PLUGIN COULD NOT BE LOADED. Is there a way to erase these plugisns from AE ?

    Thanks!!!!!

As I suggested earlier — it may not be FxFactory that’s causing the problem. Have you rebuilt the AE preferences?

I’m sorry for this late reply, i was on a holiday.
I did what you said en i rebuild the preferences in AE. The same problem is still there and AE loads 16 plugins from FX fac and tells me that they could not be loaded.

    Regards, Maik
