Fusion tracking to Nuke? Possible?
Hey guys, so I’m dealing with a problem and maybe someone here can help.
I have some Fusion sequences with tracking/stabilising data from Mocha (no Mocha node or file)
And I need to hand that over to someone in Nuke to basically work with in compositing some material back into a shot there.Now obviously the content of how the information is presented in Fusion and Nuke is different. Is there a solution to converting that tracking data so it is readable in Nuke?

Mocha tracking in Fusion must have used a Boris plugin. The question might be something that Boris tech support can inform you of. It’s way beyond my pay grade.

Mocha stand alone will export tracking data to several programs, including fusion. Not sure if it does Nuke as well, but if that is where your tracking started, ask the person who did it to look into it. I don’t use the plug in version at all, so i’m not sure if you can save the project as a mocha project, then open it in stand alone mocha and do an export.
Even copying and pasting that node into a txt document might give you the tracking information you need?

Mocha Pro standalone application OR plugin option can export to many formats.
If you have the .mocha project you can open it in the Mocha Pro interface and export the tracking for Nuke, Fusion, After Effects, Flame, and many other hosts.
Mocha Pro can not import the native tracking data, only the Mocha Project.
