Fusion 8 Mac not loading QuickTime RGB Alpha, PNG codec
Hi There
a quick help would be much appreciate please:
Fusion 8, Mac, El capitan, not loading files on this format: QuickTime RGB + Alpha, Video Codec: PNG
Do I need to convert these files? If yes for what format in order to preserve alpha? Compressor would work for conversion?

PNG compression is not supported to QT movies. Here’s the list of compression types that are supported:

Converting the files to QT ProRes + Alpha is working – I’m using Apple Compressor – is there any other way to go to not loose quality?

Go for one of the Uncompressed options if quality is very, very important – otherwise, I would opt for ProRes 4444 which should be plenty good enough for most purposes and will be easier to work with. Conversion through Compressor should be fine.
