I do alot of music video work. Most of My clients have limited budgets so I use DV (Canon XL1S / XL2). If you’ve seen a music video lately you know there is often many shots filmed at a higher frame creating very smooth slow motion. So to simulate this I have been using The Foundry’s Furnace. I Like it better Than BCCs Optical Flow. However I hear good things about RE: Vision’s Twixtor.

So I am asking for imput, experience, results anything that can help me decide wether or not to fork over the loot.

    Thanks in advance

I believe Twixtor has a demo — download it and try it on your footage.
