funny looking basic Layer
Hi,
Whenever I open a new project in Photoshop CS4 it comes up with this layer. Cannot figure out how to make it come up with the basic layer. What am I doing wrong?

That looks like a transparent layer with possibly some glitches or just very weird preferences for how it is displayed.
Can you just fill it with white and move on with your life? You can have PS start you off with a white layer in preferences someplace.
