Funny Creative Cloud Pop-Up
OK, so I’m editing along today in Premiere & Photoshop… just happy as a clam. Then I need to open Audition to clean up some audio on a clip. No worries, right click on the offending clip and edit in Audition. While Audition launches just fine, I also get this pop-up window:
Now, there are two interesting things here. One, this workstation isn’t on Creative Cloud. I have a Production Premium CS6 “perpetual” license and it’s been installed nearly a year. Two, look at the number of days remaining on my “Trial Subscription!”
I think I can afford to wait a few years before shelling out $29/month, huh?
Obviously, there’s a problem with my license and I need to call Adobe before they shut me down! But it was a great way to end a long day – with a little chuckle!
Production is fun – but lets not forget: Nobody ever died on the video table!

We had a similar issue at the office. We have 6 perpetual licenses of CS6 but the Cloud has overtook two of them during updates by simply assigning itself based on my Adobe Login. Still getting that cleared up as it has not been an issue for us, but it was a bit weird that it switched over automatically without any sort of prompt from us.
