Functionality: What Have I Gained?
Any present Max users (or other 3D programs) I’d like to hear what benefits are gained with Invigorator Pro
over creating your own animations in your base program with Alpha and importing that for use in AE?
I like the “feeling” of having the added functionality in AE, but I’m looking for some feedback on
the actual benefits.
While I’m on the subject, I see that Digital Fusion 5 will have some sort of 3D implementation
(looks pretty impressive in the limited online documentation), is anyone familiar with how this line up
with Invigorator and AE? I already own DF 4.I hope this won’t seem as an improper use of this forum.

As someone who has done stuff and greatly enjoyed using Lightwave….the functionality I enjoy with 3D Invig. for appropriate projects (logo treatments and such)is the ability to see the interaction between the 3D elements and the effects environment (ie particle explosions where text hits the ground, the quality and nature of Shine eminating from the text). This allows me to alter 3d and/or AE interactively to get the desired intent. 3D Invig is not for all situations and does have limits…but what it does in conjunction with AE can be great stuff. Look at ayato.com to see some very nice work.
