  Function keys option no longer exists for me

  I use a Logic keyboard with Avid keys on it. I am in the process of switching computers and want to be able to use the function keys (F1, F2, etc.) on my Logic keyboard. Unfortunately, the new computer won’t allow me to do that. I tried to go into the keyboard settings, but there is no checkbox for “Use F1,F2, etc. keys as standard function keys.” Any ideas? I’m on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6.
