  • Fully rendered sequence but Fast Colour only ‘works’ when a title is being displayed

Is this maybe a known problem? I have a four cam multicam AVCHD project: video tracks 1 and 2 have the Fast Colour Corrector applied and video track 2 also has a Rotation of -1 degree applied. No other effects on any of the clips.

First image is with the color correction appearing as expected. However, by advancing one frame and going beyond the subTitle the Fast Colour effect (reducing red) appears to be forgotten – image 2

However, all comes out fine on the DVD (using Encore). Am I using something incorrectly or, as I say, is this a known issue?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Go to Sequence > Delete Render Files

If it’s fine on final render… applying effects, rendering, applying more effects, etc can sometimes “gum up” the preview renders; the preview renders do benefit from being cleared every so often as you work.

That was it! Many thanks – I had never heard of this before but I only started using PPro a couple of months ago 🙂
