April 12, 2012 at 9:45 pm[Jeremy Garchow] “Relax guys.
He was making a joke about the initial reaction to FCPX in this very forum we are virtually standing in.
When that came out, it was all about how unprofessional it was due to some automated features, like rolling shutter repair. That is all.
He also did the FCPX megatest right when it came out: https://fcpxmegatest.blogspot.com/
He clearly signed his post ****sarcasm off****
It’s OK. It’s a bloodbath in here sometimes.”
Oops. ****red face on****

April 12, 2012 at 10:22 pmWhat’s amazing is that skimming and marking an in and an out in the “browser” is something the Discreet Edit did in 1998…and I’ve been waiting for it to happen in FCP for a decade, to no avail. Now, Adobe has brought it back – great!

April 13, 2012 at 1:29 amForgot about the scrubbing feature that had been added. Quite frankly, because the thumbnails are so small in FCP, it really didn’t make much of a difference to me. The playable picons in Discreet Edit were much larger and clearer.
