    [Jeremy Garchow] “Relax guys.

He was making a joke about the initial reaction to FCPX in this very forum we are virtually standing in.

When that came out, it was all about how unprofessional it was due to some automated features, like rolling shutter repair. That is all.

He also did the FCPX megatest right when it came out: https://fcpxmegatest.blogspot.com/

He clearly signed his post ****sarcasm off****

It’s OK. It’s a bloodbath in here sometimes.”

    Oops. ****red face on****

No magnetic timeline. Still got tracks. They obviously weren’t holding it right when they were designing it.

What’s amazing is that skimming and marking an in and an out in the “browser” is something the Discreet Edit did in 1998…and I’ve been waiting for it to happen in FCP for a decade, to no avail. Now, Adobe has brought it back – great!

FCP did scrubbing in thumbnails in 1999. No marking though.

Forgot about the scrubbing feature that had been added. Quite frankly, because the thumbnails are so small in FCP, it really didn’t make much of a difference to me. The playable picons in Discreet Edit were much larger and clearer.
