FTP programme not connecting since new iMac G5
Just bought a brand new iMac G5 and use the FTP programme Transmit. Since the new mac my FTP programme won’t connect to any of my websites. I have moved the lib/prefs etc and they are all in place.
I can connect to internet via Safari as usual, and get my Mail too, just can’t FTP to my server.
I have passive FTP on in the prefs, I’ve even tried turning off the Firewall altogether, but dosn’t work.
I can only assume that it is down to a pre-set setting in OSX system preferences or something. Anyone have any ideas please?

Try downloading Cyberduck to see if it works:
https://cyberduck.ch/My guess would be that you simply need to reinstall Transmit.
