I am shooting a demo for a landscaper next week- a fabulous job that includes several waterfalls and extensive foliage and lighting. I plan to shoot the hour before and after sunset to get that “Golden Hour” light. Can you recommend settings? I plan to use Cine EI, 1000 iso. What color temp setting, and should I go SLOG 2 or 3 or something else entirely? Thoughts, please!

Well, as long as there’s no artificial light involved, I leave my setting on 5600Kelvin for sunsets and very carefully control the iris setting to get the desired effect. If you have a decent monitor you should be able to get acceptable footage without getting too complicated.

I would shoot slog2 or 3 (your pref) with a color checker reference shot for better and more adjustable color accuracy.
