Hey, I’m using a Firstore FS-100 with my HVX200 and everytime I film live bands the footage gets corrupt. I’ve made sure it isn’t the wire slipping out or yanking around, but I suspect it has something to do with the loud noise. Every time a song ended the Firestore would say please wait and stop the recording. Then when I review the footage the clips are all chopped up and out of sync. Any idea what is causing this? Is there a setting so the firestore ignores sound levels or something? It’s really frustrating because I film a ton of live bands and the past few shoots have been completely ruined.

anythign would be very much appreciated.
    thanks!

A lot of folks have had issues with FS, myself included, I won’t use em.
However, others have never had a prob.

    I collect P2 cards.

I do have P2, but not enough to hold the kind of long performances I am filming out in the field. I understand people have had issues, but I am asking for a solution with the firestore. I am aware of other options. thanks.
