Frustrating error whit “Track matte Key”
Hello,
I’ve an confusing error when trying to add the effect “Track matte key” to one of my video clips.
The thing is that the effect works, but only in the mode “Matte Luma” and not in “Matte Alpha”. So i get my masking working but only in black and white, which is not what i was after because i need it in color. The thing is that when i use the setting Alpha Matte it dosen’t work as a mask, it just only shows the masking image just as if i did not have any Track matte effect on it.
So how do i make my video clip working in Alpha Matte (color) and not just only in Luma Matte? I’ve tried to both restarted the software as well as changed the order of the video clip and the effect.
My setup are currently:
Video 2: Video clip
Video 1: The “masking” image “Track matte key, Matte: Video 2” -

I think your matte clip has to go on the next track up, not underneath.
