    Hello All:

Playing back a sequence it froze up / stopped, began clocking (rainbow wheel) and has not stopped yet.

I made the mistake of having another HI-Res sequence / tab open while playing back this sequence and know thats probably whats causing but…

how do I get it too STOP without incorrectly powering down my external drive or whatever… at a loss please help.

    Thanks.

Try: Shift-Command-Option-Esc keys all at once. (force quit app)

    Command-Option-Esc (end task with finder)

    logging off might work too.

if that doesn’t work, holding down the power is your only real option.

    James,

Go up to the Apple icon and scroll down to force quit. Unfortunately, unless you saved or had auto save on, you will lose your changes, and it’s probably time to trash your prefs and fix permissions.

    Have a wonderful day.

    Hello Chris:

Hey it was crazy, but it eventually stopped but my external hard drive disconnected in the process, very weird corky technical stuff has happened with this project and continues to happen.

For Instance, I am in the process now of finalizing my sequences and I am being to by my Render Manager I do not have enough rendering space.

I was not expecting this.. any suggestions? where and how do I know what to free-up on my disk?
