  frozen on mp2 export?

  should there be drive activity (as indicated by the lacie blue light)
  when i’m exporting an mpg2 from the timeline through ‘compressor’? i’m
  not hearing anything or seeing activity. 78 minute timeline and i’ve
  chosen ’90 minute fast encode.’ it’s been a long time, well over an
  hour. all media for the timeline is on the lacie. lacie is also the
  destination for the mpg2.
