  • “Frozen image” is shaking when exporting to dvd

    Hello,

I hope I describe everything correctly now, as I have a german version of permier. If I take a frame of a video into a sequence and I then freeze this frame at IN Point everything seems okay while I use premier. However, if I export to DVD, always a part of this frozen picture is shaking, as example just a hand or a head… The rest of the film is absolutly fine. I have tried now several times, but I am always confronted with the same problem.

For any help I am very grateful,

    Olivertash

Oliver, I think you have what is called interlacing problems or field dominance. You should de-interlace your still footage (frame from the video)with either Premiere or with Photoshop. In Premiere, right click on the clip and select FIELD OPTIONS, then select ALWAYS DEINTERLACE. What I would do is to export the frame to bitmap and open it in Photoshop, and from the filters, select VIDEO>DEINTERLACE. Then import the image again in Premiere.

    Hope that helps…
