Trying to learn editing with DR, have used other editors before.
In the edit source window after selecting in-out, is there a way to just insert (into time line) the audio only or video only portion of the selected. Every other editor I’ve used has had this availability to choose audio, video or both.

[Roy Feldman] “Every other editor I’ve used has had this availability to choose audio, video or both.”

“You can also disable the video or audio destination controls in situations where you want to edit a source video clip into the Timeline without its audio, or vice versa.

To disable or reenable a destination control, do one of the following:
–> Click an already assigned destination control to toggle it off and then on again.”

The destination controls are the icons found in the timeline header.
Its very much like the patch field connectors in the Final Cut timeline header.
