Hi, i seem to be totally brain dead this week…

I have 10minutes of video, and i have just 30 seconds of it selected and placed on my timeline. So far so good.

But there is a few seconds i’d like to Stabalize in after effects. How can i send/swap just the bit i want.

Do i have ‘cut’ my thirty seconds, or can i use some kind of Marker ?

    Thanks.

    Hi Jonny,

Highlight the clip in the sequence that you want to use in AE, then go to File > Dynamic Link > Create After Effects Composition.

This opens the clip in AE. Add your effect, SAVE, then when you jump back to Premiere the clip will be pink and says it is linked or some such thing. Render in Premiere.

If it’s part of a larger clip, then yes, cut it on each end and then send.
