From Final Cut to Motion
OK, I need some help with this frustrating problem.
I have a short edit of 20 second and 9 clips with filters, speed adjustments and transitions. I duplicate the layer, render it out and right click top layer to open in Motion. Great all done. On opening it in Motion I find there is no speed change, transitions and worst of all the content of the clips has shifted to somwhere else in the clip. What is going on???

Motion doesn’t recognize FCP transitions for one thing. What do you mean when you say “I duplicate the layer”?
What were you wanting to do in motion?
