  From excel to csv, encoding format with special characters

  I have a huge list of names and titles in Excel,
  They are in french, so it contains some special characters.
  However once I save in csv, and import it in after effects it doesn’t give me any errors
  but if I use the data It just cut the word or sentence as from when it encounter the first special character.
  eg:
  Lets say I have this sentence in the data “Comment prévenir la police”
  If I link my source text to this data the text only shows “Comment pr”

  Any help would be could, other wise I’ll have to start typing one by one
