    Hi All,

How can I keyframe a clip to go from colour to black and white and vice versa?
I know theres a monochrome tick box in adjust->channel mixer but I want to be able to do this gradually.

    Thanks,
    Ranjha

There are a million ways to do it actually. Really, a million!

Almost any of the settings in the adjust column will do it. Saturation is the one most specific. Just desaturate your image over time and you’ll have grayscale before you can say rgb!

Easy. Use the Hue/Saturation effect, and keyframe the Saturation from 0 to -100. That will take you from color to b&w.

If nothing else, you can always duplicate your layer, do whatever you wish to that duplicate and just keyframe the opacity up or down.

But like someone previously stated, to me the most obvious is to keyframe the Master Saturation parameter in the hue/sat effect.
