    Hi,

I created a DVD menu in AE CS4 using DVCPRO HD footage. My composition settings are 23.976, p/r 1.33, 960X720.

Now I need to export it to encore. I want a widescreen menu.

I created a new comp (ntsc widescreen, p/r 1.21) and inserted comp#1 in it. Then, I scaled comp #1 so it fits in comp #2. My next step would be to export using the MPEG2 DVD setting.

Is it the way to go for the best image quality? I’m a newbie to AE and would like to know if there’s a better workflow.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Maxime,

Best thing to do is render in the highest possible quality (quicktime animation / photo jpeg), import into encore and let that programme budget your conversion to mpeg. Saves the hassle of doing it yourself.
