Fresh install on SSD and now no data base
Had to replace my boot drive and did so with a SSD drive.
Did a clean install of Lion and reinstalled DaVinci and ran the updates.
It now boots super fast however, instead of admin I get “no data base”.
I go to database manager but regardless of what I do I cannot set up a new database.
Error reads “Failed to open database connection: could not connect to server: Connection refused. Is the server running on host 127.0.0.1 and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432? QPSQL: Unable to connect”
Have checked that the preferences OK.
What am I missing here?

do look around here in the forum.
it has been talked about faulty database install.
There it was talked about routines how to remove faulty database and how to
reinstall it.The thread was in last 30 days or so.
