  • Frequently getting and Error code: -1609629695 when exporting using AME

    This is what is logged:

    Export Error
    Error compiling movie.
    Render Error
    Render returned error.
    Writing with exporter: H.264
    Writing to file: my-video.mp4
    Writing file type: H264
    Around timecode: 00:00:04:19 – 00:00:06:03
    Rendering at offset: 4.792 seconds
    Component: H.264 of type Exporter
    Selector: 9
    Error code: -1609629695

I’ve had this (or similar) errors in the past, but always few and far between. But now I’m having them every single time I want to export a new iteration of this project. I don’t know if the first project file is corrupt or if some of the material is corrupt, or perhaps some of the effects I’m using are… although I’m using the basic ones I normally use, ie Warp Stabilizer, Colorista V and Lumetri Color.

How do I currently solve it? Well, I have to quit PPro and open it back up, try again; repeat this until it works and sometimes I even have to reboot my computer before it does.

P.S. Obviously the first thing I did was try googling “AME Error code: -1609629695” but all I seem to get are results for error code *90 and not *95; I don’t know if they’re the same thing but the solutions given don’t seem to apply to my circumstances.
