Some of the hosts and users thought it would be a good idea to start a Frequently Asked Questions thread on this forum, since we see a lot of repetition in posts from new users.

Lucky for us, the folks who run the COW thought this was a good idea too.

Look at the top of this forum – just under where it says “Business and Marketing” – there is now a FAQ populated by links to threads about commonly asked questions.

Also, when you start a new thread, you get a message saying:

Before posting, look for commonly asked questions in the Business & Marketing FAQ.

Will this FAQ eliminate the asking of commonly asked questions? Only time will tell. But this should be a useful resource for everyone.

I think an FAQ would be a great idea but, I apologize, I don’t see the link. I do see the link for free business building services though.

Would it be more noticeable if placed under the free business services sticky?
The problem with placing it in the gray banner as that the other options next to it are all technical such as View All, Add New Post, Print, Subscribe, Tag.

FAQ is out of context in that location to my mind’s way of organizing.

So the first FAQ is: “Where are the FAQ’s?” LOL

I just did a search for FAQ’s and it lead me to this post…

How long has it been there? I’ve never noticed it before.
