  Freezing Rain Particle

  I’m trying to freeze the Big Rain particle emitter at a certain point and just can’t get it to work. The Stop parameter doesn’t seem to work and the timing controls don’t offer any Hold options. Can anyone help?
  There’s only one video layer sent from FCP underneath the rain effect.
