    Hi,

I’ve been playing around with freezing the action in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0. I’ve been getting the kind of effect I want by using the ‘Save snapshot to file’ and then dragging this into the time line. The only thing is, of course, that the quality of the snapshot is much lower than the rest of my HDV footage.

Is there a way to increase the quality of the snapshot (ie. make it a higher resolution)? If not, is there another way to create the same ‘freeze’ technique in VMSP9?

    Cheers,

    Marcus

Make sure to set your Preview Window to Best/Full before taking the snapshot.

If you have’nt already, You can also read this previous
post….although the Vegas Movie Studio versions does
not have the velocity envelope feature….you’ll still
    benefit from a few pointers.

    Hi,

Thanks! I’d overlooked the fact my preview window was still set to best/quarter. The frozen scene now looks exactly the way I had hoped.

    Cheers,

    Marcus
