    10.0.6

About 30 minutes into an edit, adding a freeze frame results in a blank clip that has what looks like a primary & connected clip graphic. No video. Name of the clip is correct, that is, the clip that should be frozen there. But nothing.

Earlier freezes in the project are OK. FF seems to start failing randomly around the 22:00 mark.

I can go earlier & create FF’s no problem.

UPDATE: entering Retiming & selecting a Hold does work.

    Ideas?

No idea why, but I have a retimed clip that simply will not render. Mine starts fast and goes to a hold (not a separate freeze frame). There’s a transition with overlapping connected clips at the back-end. The unrendered, retimed clip plays fine in real-time until the overlaps at the outgoing end. Then, of course it hangs, since it isn’t rendered. Could be that our two problems are somehow related.
